Toyota India debuted the Rumion MPV, based on the Maruti Ertiga, for the Indian market earlier this week. In the coming months, the automaker is expected to disclose pricing for the sixth cross-badged product between the brands.

Engine and specs for the new Rumion MPV

• The Rumion MPV will be powered by a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG option.

• This engine is calibrated to generate 102bhp and 136.8Nm of peak torque when mated with a five-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed torque converter unit.
• In CNG mode, the motor is capable of producing 87bhp and 121.5Nm of torque when connected with a five-speed manual gearbox.
